Well down to the fishing !!!! we had a look on the plotter to see what marks was on there and there were loads to chose from but me being me i saw a mark i fancied which had not been marked for fish so of we set  this is the great bit about this boat is you fish were you want to fish  and how you want to fish  we anchored up and with in mins we was in to bream  graham had the first one  we stayed on this mark  till high tide loads of bream but all small  but great sport fishing graham said lets have a move so up anchor and of we went to some rough ground which was great fishing first small codling and them some doggies followed by some nice size whiting

Well we had a great day and will be going back for more !! The day was a great success from Harwell getting our bait surpplying the boat if you have owned your own boat like my self its a great way to fish with out the expense of mooring fees etc   for those who want to know how we was fishing we was using 3 hook flappers small hooks 1 with lug and thin strips of squid tops for the bream on the rough ground i went for a up tide set up with half squid

September 2007

Well after out great trip out it was down to earth with a bump me mate Graham wanted to night fish Dungeness in Kent so after getting sorted for bait lug and squid we fished the in tide lots of small pouting and a few whiting which kept us busy to the early hours of the morning no soles! There were reports of codling in the area but we see none

October 5th
After looking at the wether  and talking to Tim at Harwell charters we thought we take a gamble on the wind and went to eastbourne  we met Tim  who had sorted our bait out for us fresh lug we had our own squid with us frozen !
I thought i give it a go were i last fished and had caught the codling to day there was four of us on board Graham ,Billy, Mick  ,and my self we all agred we try and target the cod,  once on the grounds  and we started to fish with in mins the first fish was on board pouting !! but a good size the bites were like bream bites the rapid rat tat tat on the line  so we all went down to small hooks  and then the bream was coming on board  a few small one's which went stright back then Billy got in to a nice size one Mick got a nice brace of pouting in one hit we all thought he had a good size cod on the way the rod was going !!
we toped up on that mark 9 good size bream and a doggie  with out countless pouting.
The wind started to pick up i i knew wind a gainst tide would be a bit rought so we headed in by the time we got back to the marina it was going a good 3/4 force but the boat handled very well in the conditions so a bit of an early day but hey thats the good old british weather for you
Thanks again to Harwell charters for the use of the boat and we will be back soon .

September 2007

After reading about this boat in bfm i thought i see if it was as good as the write up and it was !
we met the owner Alex who is part owner with his brother Tim who i have spoken to on the phone to arrange dates etc  after showing alex my licence etc (pb2) and filling in all the paper work  Alex went through the induction in great detail which took some 2 hours  once you have done this you dont have to do it again  then Alex took us to a quiet part of the marina and let us pilot the boat to make sure we was confident with all the controls  and electronics  to see full terms and conditions you must go to  www.harwellcharters.co.uk

Oct 6th well the wife let me out to play again two days fishing on the trot he he
me and me fishing bud Graham went to dungie we stoped of at sea gull tackle and  got our fresh worm  from Tony the owner  if you ever in dungie pop in and speak to tony he knows were the best place to fish  what marks are fishing good etc , and a nice guy to go with it .
well after speaking to Tony we went down to the wooden path/the point to fish to be out of the wind as it was blowing a good few knots  well we both fished 2x rods each  but with know great results  lots of small whiting  but no were what we had caught on our last trip  i put it down to the wind and the colour or the water you could see it was churning the bottom up of may be we did not see the bites so well in the wind  but het we did not blank !!!

drop us a line on what's been caught and were
