DAVES DIARY nov/dec

Well sorry for the delay in updates but been of line yet again!!

NOV 2007

My self and Graham have fished dungie now 6 time since our last report still no real sign of the dab's we have had the odd one or two but nothing spectacular cod are few and far between down there. There have been reports that one fisherman had 15 cod of the beach! .

We have tried fishing the day time down there with very poor results night fishing is the way forward down there with large numbers of whiting.
After hearing reports that Clacton Essex is fishing well graham has given it a bash and had some good results night and day with some good size codling 3lbs upwards.

DEC 2007 last week

back to dungeness well at last a few dabs now showing and some codling some nice fish being caught in the day as well as night and even now the odd bass what is going on !!! the fish are late comeing in this year dabs i have had reports of the sprats are in so the cod will be filling them selfs on them for a bit now

i did try a bit of boat fishing from newhaven but it got so rough we had to come in but still had some good channel whiteing

sunday before new year me and me buddie went to dungeness well i have never seen so many fishing from the beach i was gobsmaked see pic we found a place the other side of the power station lots of dabs and whiteing and a few codling as well comeing out
